Daniel Cox Can't wait to add more to my collection. Great music to drive or chill to. A trancey sound that will echo around your brain all week. Haunting and brainwashing. Favorite track: Playing Puzzles.

COMING SOON: YOUR BODY DOESN'T LIKE THE DECISIONS YOUR BRAIN MAKES, VOL. 2 (Fall 2011-Present sessions).
Stay tuned <3<3

--Flowers of Ten--

zoning out hard, cause it's the weekend in your head
days go slow, with all those clothes around your bed
dreams bizarre, plant seeds around the yard
peeling apart, what are you trying to explain?

these days don't stay long
smile when you're bleeding truth

don't you know that they will thrive on your disdain?
push and pull keeps you thinking, "what the fuck?"

these days don't stay long
smile when you're breathing
each day we're alone, that intuition is missing
the weirdness left us lost, but it caught up with me
you have to sing a song since you've been drinking, too.

--Somnambulist Bop--

santa clause is coming to town,
but i already have what i want
cheap smokes, alcohol, toothaches, & drugs
keep me numb & awake

some may call this weight our brain,
so what? light heads dont hold shame
heard it's supposed to snow all day,
how divine: the cold white mundane.

hold your head up high
we know it's not exciting
to be in debt with pain
take it oh so slow
it's 1:30 but I know that
I will lay nowhere else

--The Lampshade Talker--

the worst joke ever told
rubbed my ears raw
tested like a gun
filthy & arrogant
(lamplight)
the words rot on your tongue
& reeking of cheap rum
these feeble people
distracted by the fun
(lamplight)

advance to the bedroom
alone again I assume
mind drifts abroad
bewildered by the wall
(lamplight)

he talks alone

--Jokes--

Oh she walks in, in a dress of sugar cane
scorn, fertile man makes a pass, they're all the same
wash away cheer thanks to expressive cupid prick
a plateau of glass bottles foster dread for a gent

test all your appeals, worn out words mixed in stale air
clenching your booze, another bastard fuel for tears
moving closer, im exhausted from his transparency
cause that's my girl, & she's like a church you cannot burn

descend from scenes bookmarked by socialites
into starlight but our home is nearby
holding her man with moist palms & beaming grin
now my head plants high, flowing grass thoughts in a mental sky

--Playing Puzzles--

interesting, this game of luck
such a shame, didn't bet a buck
on this wet grass, being grazed by naked toes
slow sleep walk, with smiles hand in hand
scared to think those sincere thoughts
articulating a fear so soft
lust is another cigarette meditation for two

i want you to bother me
when i wonder if you ponder me

appealing, the moon and stars
coexist with this night so fond
though the light's out
some still shines through your alley window
blue eyes, brown eyes meet on a white pillow
don't conceal your bashful core
nothing good happens when you want
to think twice, is to dwindle spirits high
just hold on for good

i want you to bother me
when i wonder if you ponder me

--Heavy, Friendly--

lets go away for awhile
tell you some things make you smile
run away hide from the snow
wishful thinking let us believe
you know you've shown me heavy.

make up well make up your mind
help the feeling overwhelm
just don't tell me where to go
ponder, reflect, contemplate how you know what it
means to be heavy & friendly
